FAQ

Is this financial advice?

No. Signal Before Signal reports public activity and what it might indicate. It is not financial, investment or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

Can the reports be wrong?

Yes. Detection is statistical and the write-up is generated by a model. Every report keeps what was observed separate from what is inferred, labels speculation as speculation, and carries the sources and timestamps behind each claim so you can check it yourself.

What do you store about me?

Your email, an optional name, and a bcrypt hash of your password — never the password. Your activity: entities you create, watchlist items, alerts and investigations. For payments, a Stripe session reference or an onchain transaction hash. Card numbers and wallet keys never reach the server.

What is free, and what is paid?

Reading is free and needs no account: the discovery feed, every entity in it, and every signal with the baseline it was measured against. Being told is what PRO buys — a watchlist and the alerts that follow it, from the first entity.

What is the difference between public and private entities?

Public entities are the shared catalogue: anyone can read them and the signals found on them, and that is what the open feed shows. Private entities are visible only to you — nobody else can see the name, the sources or the findings — and are part of PRO, capped at 25 per account.

What happens to my watchlist if PRO lapses?

Nothing is deleted. The entities you watch and the thresholds you set stay exactly as they were; they simply stop producing alerts until PRO is active again, and resume with nothing to set up twice.

How do I try it?

Open the discovery feed. It needs no account: you get every entity under observation, every signal with the baseline it was measured against, and the finding behind each one. What an account adds is being told — a watchlist, and alerts when something on it moves.
